Jennifer Morris announced as new CEO

Leader with 25 years’ experience to take the helm of global conservation organisation

The Nature Conservancy has named Jennifer Morris, currently president of Conservation International, as our next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). For the past 25 years, Morris has been dedicated to protecting the environment for people and nature. Her decades of leadership, proven management skills, and passion for TNC’s mission will propel the organisation to deliver on our ambitious mission—conserving the lands and waters on which all life depends.

Morris will start at TNC on May 18, 2020 and will be based at our global headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, USA. Sally Jewell, TNC’s interim CEO, will continue to serve as CEO until then and will maintain her seat on the Global Board of Directors.
