Laura is Strategy and Insights Manager at Google. She is focused on empowering and inspiring meaningful customer conversations. Laura does this in three areas: strategic planning, insightful solutions and thought leadership for the finance, banking and insurance industry. Through market and consumer insights, she develops a unique point of view and narrative for Google and advocates within the industry. Laura also leads the Community Pillar for the Google Melbourne office, focused on driving the strategy and execution of community, advocacy and fundraising events.
Prior to this, Laura contributed to AustralianSuper in roles across Strategic Insights and Product and Proposition Development. Major achievements include conducting the single largest superannuation study in Australia and developing a notable white paper on SMSF members for policymakers. With five years' experience working in superannuation, Laura has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in strategy, operations, governance, management and execution.
Laura is involved with superannuation advocacy and networking group Women in Super, and is National Chair of the Professional Development Committee. She is an advocate for promoting equal opportunities and empowering women.
Laura recently graduated with First Class Honours from her MBA, recipient of the Monash-FINSIA Scholarship.
