Biography
Annette has a passion for working in industries that connect people and their environments. Starting out studying sociology through a Bachelor of Arts, Annette went on to complete a Grad Dip in Environmental Management and a Masters of Environment Studies.
Through her career Annette has worked with environmental NGOs, local government, the international development sector, communities and local organisations in the Asia Pacific to build resilience to the impacts of climate change and disasters.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Annette has joined The Nature Conservancy as the Nature and Agricultural Landscapes Manager. She will be working with diverse stakeholders including First Nations communities, environmental groups, investment companies, universities and government agencies to develop and finance solutions for conservation outcomes across some of Australia’s highly modified landscapes.
