Biography
Tania grew up in Adelaide, in a family of recreational fishers. She cares deeply about South Australia’s natural heritage and is driven by her passion to see her local marine environments in better health. She dreams that her kids and future generations will be able to continue to enjoy its beauty and richness.
Tania has a degree in Journalism from the University of South Australia and has worked on the strategy, planning and delivery of social change programs in conservation and public health. As the Oceans Project Coordinator in South Australia, Tania is working on the shellfish reef restoration projects at Glenelg, O'Sullivan Beach and Kangaroo Island.

Shellfish ecosystems are among the most endangered marine habitats on Earth-with 85% loss worldwide. With the exception of Windara Reef, we have no known native oyster reefs left in South Australia, but we're bringing them back.
