Alison Rowe is the Managing Director for The Nature Conservancy Australia, where she leads conservation initiatives that protect biodiversity, address climate change and support human well-being. With a career spanning nearly two decades in environmental sustainability, she has developed deep global experience in leadership, stakeholder management, climate change, renewable energy, and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy. 

Prior to The Nature Conservancy, Alison served as CEO of the Australian Energy Foundation, where she worked with all levels of government, industry, academia and social organisations to build investment and action toward a carbon zero society. Her private sector executive experience includes nine years at Fujitsu in sustainability roles, including five years as Global Executive Director Sustainability. 

Alison was recently appointed Non-Executive Director of Edge Environment, following her tenure as Chair of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council Australia from 2018–2021. She has held non-executive positions at Future Business Council, Bioregional Australia, Climate Alliance, Environment Victoria and One in Five. 

A former Defence member of the Royal Australian Navy, Alison completed the Business and Environment program through Cambridge University, and holds both an MBA from Mt Eliza Business School, Melbourne and a Post Graduate Diploma in Technology Management from Michael Smurfitt Business School in Dublin, Ireland. She is a Williamson Fellow, an immersive year-long leadership program focused on leading with purpose.
