Thanks so much to everyone who worked in nature for 1-hour and joined our #greendesk movement as part of our Work with Nature campaign. It was great seeing so many of you enjoying working outside and sharing your experience on social media.
We’re delighted to share the winning photo from our #greendesk contest for 2017. Congratulations to Bega Valley local, Teena Burnell, who has won a $1,000 travel voucher for her stunning outdoor snap. Teena’s photo was selected by our panel of expert judges after she transformed her favorite local spot in the small town of Candelo in NSW, into the ultimate outdoor office.
“I often sit under this tree to help me focus and inspire creativity, so when I saw the #greendesk contest, it was only natural that it became my outdoor office,” she said.
Spending time outside is proven to reduce stress, improve productivity and restore mental energy – and Teena admitted she felt the benefits of taking a ‘green booster break’ during the working day.
“I personally feel uplifted and happier when working outside, so I am definitely trying to incorporate it more into my daily routine,” she said.
We received more than 1,700 beautiful #greendesk entries that celebrate Australia’s natural beauty and the beautiful places that we can enjoy working outside from. Our judging panel had an extremely difficult time selecting the winner and we’re thrilled to share the other shortlisted entries with you below.
Our 2017 Work with Nature campaign is now over but we hope it inspired you to go beyond the hour and include nature in your regular work routine. You certainly inspired us with your beautiful photos. We couldn’t share them all on this page but we thank you all for your unconditional support. Want to see more #greendesk photos? Check out the #greendesk movement on Instagram.
